The Book Rack
Originally opened in 1975 by Selma Rosner, The Book Rack is part of a national franchise of independently owned used book stores. Selma opened up shop at 12 Mass Ave. in Lexington and was there for almost 20 years when Nita Buglio took over the store, and moved to our Medford St. in Arlington location in September of 1999. Current owner Mike Buglio took over in 2003.

The Book Rack is now truly Arlington's Community Bookseller providing the largest selection of new and used books around. With our friendly, knowledgeable (and book addicted) staff, no request is too far fetched. With our wide variety of used books, and access to most in-print books within just a day or two, we can satisfy any personal craving or gift need.

Think you know The Book Rack's shelves? Think again, stock is changing constantly which is what makes browsing at a used book store so much fun. You never know what will jump of the shelf begging to be read.
