Registration:

In order to become a Famboogle user, you must first create an account on this web site. To create an account you are required to provide the following contact information: email address, residential address, and a password. Merchants and organization accounts are required to provide the address of their place of business.

Profile Information:

Once a user, you may provide additional information in the Profile section describing your address, payment information, personal interests, commercial interests, school preference and other information. Providing additional information beyond what is required at registration is entirely optional, but enables you to better identify yourself and find new opportunities in the Famboogle system.

Like most web sites, Famboogle uses cookies and web log files to track site usage. A cookie is a tiny data file which resides on your computer which allows Famboogle to recognize you as a user when you return to our site using the same computer and web browser. Information about your home alarm system:

Famboogle may offer to users a monitored home alarm system. This system monitors the status and activity of certain sensors that have been installed according to the Famboogle installation instructions. Information collected in this manner is used by Famboogle to determine if an alarm has been triggered in your home. Famboogle may ananomously share your use profile with 3rd parties to improve its own offerings to you. In case an alarm has been triggered in your home, or in any other security and safety related incident, Famboogle may share your contact information with one or several 3rd parties, including public safety officials, for the sole purpose of providing assistance to you as outlined in the Alarm Monitoring Contract.

Children:

Children are not eligible to use our service and we ask that minors (under the age of 18) do not submit any personal information to us or use the service.

Information Use:

Famboogle is a networking organization that promotes more and stronger connections within the local communities. It uses the Web as one of the tools to help efficiency and effectiveness. (the “Famboogle Service”). Famboogle offers solutions for community and family needs in the areas of connectivity, networking, security, entertainment and communication. The personally identifiable information you choose to provide on this site is used to provide interest specific community information and commercial information to you. Other information, that does not personally identify you as an individual, is collected by Famboogle from the site (such as, by way of example, patterns of utilization) and is exclusively owned by Famboogle. This information can be utilized by Famboogle in such manner as Famboogle, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate.

Famboogle Communications:

Famboogle will communicate with you through email, through the Famboogle Notifier application which you may install on your computer, notices posted on this website, or when deemed necessary for security reasons by phone. These communications may include a series of up to five welcome emails which help inform new users about various features of the service. Please be aware that you may receive certain emails from Famboogle related to the proper functioning of your account. Famboogle may send you promotional information unless you have opted out of receiving such information. Famboogle partners with other online services to give you the combined results of both services. For example we may partner with Zvents.com to let you know about local events posted on their site. While Famboogle will intends to gather only meangingful and appropriate information through such relationship, Famboogle is not responsible for content posted on its site by 3rd parties.

It is possible that we may need to disclose personal information when required by law. We will disclose such information wherein we have a good-faith belief that it is necessary to comply with a court order, ongoing judicial proceeding, or other legal process served on our company or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

Accessing and Changing Your Account Information

You can review the personal information you provided us and make any desired changes to the information, or to the settings for your Famboogle account, at any time by logging in to your account on the Famboogle website and editing the information on your Profile page. You can also close your account by emailing customerservice@Famboogle.com. If you close your Famboogle account, we will remove your name and other personally identifiable information from our publicly viewable data. We may retain certain data contributed by you if it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for legitimate business purposes, such as analysis of aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data, account recovery, or if required by law. All retained data will continue to be subject to the terms of the Famboogle Privacy Policy that you have previously agreed to. To request that we close your account and remove your information from the Famboogle service, please send your request to customerservice@Famboogle.com . Please send your request using an email account that you have registered with Famboogle under your name. You will receive a response to requests sent to customerservice@Famboogle.com within three business days of us receiving it. If you subscribed to an extended payment plan you understand that cancelling your account does not relieve you from your obligation to pay the amounts due to Famboogle.
