An open letter to all who think communities are part of who they are.

For communities to sustain themselves they need nourishment. Today, the challenges are more intense than ever, as local, state and federal funding for local communities are increasingly constricted. Our wealth as a nation has never been greater, for a few, but our need to support community programs has never been more urgent.

In a time of ever increasing challenges to our environment, people across the country are also looking inwards - to their communities - for answers. Vibrant local economies are expected by many to contribute to more sustainable lifestyles.

Something's Gotta Give!

Famboogle aims to actively promote and support local economies in natural and intuitive ways. While providing a platform for local consumers and businesses to better connect, Famboogle also supports community charities and non-profit organizations. We believe that giving to the community provides the nourishment for a sustainable community with meaning and value.

Anything we can do to encourage the gift of money or time to these local organizations is good for the community. And to show that we are sincere about this, 10% of all advertising revenue generated by Famboogle will be donated to a school or organization of our users choice.
